Entrepreneurship Week Proclamation proclaiming

February 20-27, 2010, as North Dakota Entrepreneurship Week!

On hand to witness this proclamation were participants in the Marketplace for Kids Bright Ideas Showcase and Contest held at the ND State Fair in July 2010.  Standing from left are: Chase Davis, Bismarck, Michael Couse, Minot; Kaitlyn Kipp, Mandan; Katie Nistler, Fargo; and Jordan Huber, Minot.  Seated from left are: Dominic Davis, Bismarck; Kaleb Schaub, Napoleon; Governor John Hoeven; RyanBaumgartner, Napoleon; and Ashley Fagerland, Williston.  Marketplace for Kids is designed to encourage innovative thinking at all ages by showcasing the ideas of North Dakota's young people.  Students could enter their business idea or invention at Bright Ideas Showcase and Contest and compete against students in their age category for cash prizes.
